The new facility houses 3no. new imaging systems, including an innovative EOS Imaging system, that will enhance the Trust’s capability in providing world-leading orthopaedic treatment and patient care. The facility includes a new reception, patient and staff welfare areas, write up spaces and offices and new plant spaces to accommodate the services. The refurbishment of the ward required a full replacement of the building services and new HTM-compliant mechanical ventilation services were provided throughout to meet the occupant and clinical needs of the spaces.

We worked with Bristow Consulting, Shek Architects and Wareham & Associates to produce a RIBA Stage 3 performance specification for tender. Friar Green Construction carried out the project which was handed over in November 2024.
