Tom is a senior mechanical engineer with experience in science and research, higher education, heritage and residential projects. In addition to his experience in highly technical buildings, Tom has been leading projects that focus on deep retrofit and decarbonisation.

He has developed excellent knowledge and skills in a range of 3D modelling tools including Revit, CAD, IES and other analysis packages. He utilises these tools for visualisation and co-ordination with other design disciplines and has taken on a key role in the development of internal best practice approaches.

Tom is always looking to learn about innovative technologies and aims to implement new solutions to help excellent, low energy and low carbon buildings.This includes close monitoring of a buildings operation post completion to evaluate system performance and ensure lessons learnt are captured.
