Richard is an experienced director with a background and focus on building sustainability and low energy design principles. He has an active involvement in projects and oversees the delivery of schemes across multiple sectors. This often involves working in a client liaison role, helping to run briefing and stakeholder consultation sessions where aspiration targets for projects are set during the early stages of scheme design.

Richard has a strong focus on specialist areas such as sustainability, building physics, BIM, digital engineering and how these disciplines interface. Richard has played a key role in senior management teams, focussing on the development and growth of specialist teams.

Richard has a wide range of project experience including education, commercial, sports and leisure, heritage, and residential. A strong focus is within the independent and higher education sectors leading a mix of projects including teaching accommodation, performing arts spaces, student accommodation and site infrastructure/master planning.
