Maria is a sustainability engineer that found her passion by improving the performance of buildings and wider built environment through placing sustainability at the heart of every project. She has experience working in large commercial and residential buildings, as well as supporting companies develop their sustainability framework.

At the start of her career, Maria focused on whole life cycle analysis of building materials and use. She has collaborated with design teams and contractors to provide detailed sustainability guidance, pushing them to strive for all round sustainable projects. Within etch, Maria continues to practice these principles and delivers building physics across a wide range of retrofit and new build projects.

Maria is always eager to learn more about specialist areas including sustainable materials and practices that have a positive impact on the environment and occupants.She is extremely motivated to implement Passivhaus design practices, with a focus on user comfort, across all projects she is involved with.
